At RHS mock trial simulates a trial level proceeding. Students portray both lawyers and witnesses. Each team is given an identical set of facts, witness depositions, and a limited number of evidentiary rules. They then present opening statements, direct and cross examinations, and closing arguments. They will then take those skills and compete in the mock trial competition. We have two local attorneys who take time out of their busy schedule to help coach our students prepare for the competition.
